The Main Tower occupies the honourable 4th place among the tallest buildings in Frankfurt, belongs to the new buildings of the banking district. The completion of its construction took place in the last year of the XX century. The total number of floors is 60, with 56 floors in the ground position and 4 located underground.
The elevator travel is fast, you will not be bored in the car while waiting for the exit to the desired floor: in 1 second the elevator "flies" 7 m. The centre of the Main Tower's "gravity" (this is the translation of the German name) is its observation deck in the open air. Tourists tend to get here to admire the cityscapes and magnificent views of the Odenwald mountain ranges from a height of 200 m. If there is a strong wind or precipitation outside, the visit to the site stops. As compensation, visitors are encouraged to relax in a nearby restaurant.
