Dona Ana beach

It is not enough to say that Praia de Dona Ana is 260 meters long and within walking distance of the centre of Lagos. (there is a bus and mini-train during the season) is stunningly beautiful.

It is made incredible by golden sand, rocks of the same colour, framing the beach and scattered near the coast and the emerald shade of the ocean. It is a shallow entry and calm water in a protected bay. All this together gives only one side effect - during the season, it is always crowded. On weekends, trying to find a place can turn into an insoluble problem, given the afternoon tide, which narrows the strip of sand by almost half.

Praia de Dona Ana faces east, has all the infrastructure (including numerous cafes on the tops of the cliffs, boat excursions, diving equipment rental). From the inconvenience - a long staircase-descent, unsuitable for baby carriages, a rockfall is possibly near the rocks.
