After a stroll through the city of Nijmegen, you will surely want to retire and relax. The best place for this is the Kronenburgerpark Landscape Park. Residents come here with their families to spend the weekend, young people arrange picnics in the park.
Tourists note that the place is cosy and pleasant. According to historians, criminals and mafias gathered here earlier. Even if this version is true, today nothing reminds me of it. In 2000, the park was reconstructed, cleaned up and turned not only into a striking landmark but also into a favourite vacation spot for residents.
The park has walking paths, a pond with swans and a small zoo where you can feed the animals. There is a playground at the top of the hill.

The green recreation area is located between the train station and the historic city centre.
