Phare de Gatteville, also known as Pointe de Barfleur Light, is an active lighthouse near Gatteville-le-Phare at the tip of Barfleur, Manche department, in the Normandy region of France.

#Lighthouses
You will find the second tallest lighthouse in France and in Europe located at the edge of the tip of Barfleur. After climbing its 365 steps and 12 floors you will discover an incredible view over the English Channel and the Saire valley. The Gatteville lighthouse has the same number of stairs as the days of the year, the same number of windows as the weeks of the year and the same number of floors as the months of the year.
Top tip: Climb to the top of the lighthouse and you will be guaranteed some incredible sensations.
